What to wear to your engagement session
There are a ton of factors that go into choosing what to wear, and I know it can be tough to decide which outfit will suit your photos best!
Here are my go to tips:
- Wear something you’re comfortable in
Wear something that makes you feel confident and totally you.
2. Allow for movement
During all sessions we will be moving a lot so wear something that can move with you. Long flowy dresses are my absolute FAVORITE!
3. Consider the location
Wear something that makes sense for the location, and terrain. I don’t want you to look out of place in the environment, ex.- wearing stilettos in the sand.
4. Colors
Choose colors that photograph well. I advise earth tones and neutral colors that aren’t too bold or distracting.
5. Consider the location and season
It’s important to consider how the colors you wear compliment the colors of their environment, without causing them to blend in or get lost in the landscape.
6. PATTERNS
My advice is to stay away from any bold or distracting patterns, and I urge you to opt for minimal, smaller patterns.
